Clipstream Pricing
Web Sites
Licensing is based on the number of audio or video "clips" that your
customer wants to publish to their web site. It is a software license which means
the end user owns the software. Our resellers (partners) have the ability to resell
Clipstream to their web site development customers. The price is not a monthly
or annual fee unless required (we will recommend prospect to a partner). The numbers
in the price list relate to the "number of clips".
- VideoClipstream Starter Pack (3 Clip License) - $750.00
- VideoClipstream Media Pack (15 Clip License) - $3,750.00
- VideoClipstream Rich Media Pack (35 Clip License) - $7,500.00
- AudioClipstream Starter Pack (10 Clip License) - $500.00
- AudioClipstream Media Pack (75 Clip License) - $2,500.00
- AudioClipstream Rich Media Pack (250Clip License) - $5,000.00
The only additional fee is a Maintenance Agreement which is optional - 20%
annually. Such agreements get a client free upgrades and support annually.
Email Campaign
Email Campaign are based on a new model. The pricing is based $2,500/Month
for unlimited number of emails sent. Otherwise, the price defaults to CPMs (Cost
per thousand) of emails SENT. This is an industry standard, worldwide. Since we
have no server application or requirements of the server, we do not base the CPM
rate on opened. There are also volume discounts based on the number of emails
sent. Price is then a $500Campaign fee + $5.00/Cpm
Promotional Pricing for small customer campaigns:
SMALL CUSTOMER PRICING....# of Emails
- 100-500 $150 Flat price
- 501-2500 $250 Flat price
- 2501-9999 $400 Flat price
- 10,000+ $500 + CPM Fee
Banner Pricing
Banner Campaign are based on a new model. The pricing is based $2,500/Month
for unlimited number of banner impressions. Otherwise, the price defaults to CPMs
(Cost per thousand) of banner impressions. For the CPM model, it is similar to
the Emails, based on $3.50 CPM (impressions) list price. Clipstream Banner can
get a lot cheaper with a larger volume, down to $0.50CPM with volume discounts.

One other thing, I spoke to a partner this morning, informed me of the cost
comparison to purchase clipstream for a web site over the Real, Windows Media
and QT. Here is what he calculated!
- Real: $7,000 + price per set (nother $7,000 if you want RealServer Professional)
- Windows Media: $5,500 - $7,500
- QuickTime: $3,000 - $4,500
- VideoClipstream - 3: $750 (install on your existing web server)
- VideoClipstream - 15: $3,750
